The temporary halt of production is a compliance matter since regulators in South Korea, US, and China are investigating this mater of them catching fire.

Despite the recalls and fixing of its smartphones, Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 continues to be a thorn for the South Korean electronic giant.

Yohhap News has reported citing an anonymous source working at one of Samsung’s suppliers, Samsung Electronics has temporarily suspended the production of its Galaxy Note 7, since even those which have been fixed have reportedly caught fire.

Samsung has not officially commented on this development.

Both, T-Mobile and AT&T have stated that they will stop issuing replacements and the sales of Galaxy Note 7.

Samsung is continuing its investigation into the matter.
