At IPO prices, Icahn’s 2.7% stake would be $550 million. The price paid by Soros is not clear.
According to a report from the Wall Street, billionaire investor Carl Icahn sold his nearly 2.7% of his stake in Lyft Inc to George Soros ahead of its initial public offering.
According to the report, Jonathan Christodoro, a former managing director of Icahn Capital LP who sat on Lyft’s board until last month, connected Icahn with Soros. His stake of around 2.7% would be worth around $550 million at IPO prices.
It is not clear what price Soros paid for the stake
Lyft could not be immediately reached for comment.
