In a breaking news, Microsoft Corp stated, it has detected and has attempted to stop a series of cyberattacks from Phosphorus, a company that has earlier been described as an ‘Iranian actor’. The attacks were aimed at more than 100 high-profile individuals.
“Phosphorus, an Iranian actor, has targeted with this scheme potential attendees of the upcoming Munich Security Conference and the Think 20 (T20) Summit in Saudi Arabia”, said Microsoft in a blog while adding, it believes Phosphorus is engaging in these attacks for purposes including intelligence gathering.
