Visa’s investment was during Go-Jek’s ongoing F Series funding round.
On Wednesday, Visa Inc stated, it has invested an undisclosed amount in Indonesia’s Go-Jek in the ride-hailing company’s ongoing Series F fundraising round.
In a statement the U.S. payment processor said, both companies will collaborate to provide more options for cashless payments for consumers across Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
Visa did not mention the quantum of its investment in Go-Jek or the size of its its stake.
Earlier this year, the Indonesian company has raised nearly $1 billion and according to sources it is valued at up to $10 billion.
