China’s Guangzhou Automobile Group Co Ltd warns U.S.-China trade war will impacts its entry into U.S market

The Chinese automakers stated if the U.S. were to impose stiff penalties on Chinese vehicle exports, its planned entry into the U.S. market by 2019 will be significantly affected.

On Wednesday, China’s Guangzhou Automobile Group Co Ltd stated the brewing trade conflict between China and the United States, especially if stiff tariffs were imposed, its entry into the U.S. market would be significantly affected.

At the sets of the Beijing auto show, GAC Group’s president Feng Xingya told the press, U.S. tariffs on imported Chinese vehicles will have a “significant” impact on its plans to break into the U.S. market by 2019.
