Google updates In Apps search features gets an upgrade

A new tab will pull info only from apps that have been installed on your smartphone.

Android users have been able to use Google Search to find things that are stored within the apps on their phone since 2013. Google is now all set to give this feature an upgrade.

Tonight Google has announced that a new “In Apps” section of the search bar will only show results from apps you have installed, such as specific messages, contact info, videos, music and notes.

More notably, this search feature will work offline rather than on the cloud.
