Both wireless speakers were displayed at CES this year.
Having announced a pair of Dolby Atmos-equipped soundbars at CES, Samsung has finally decided to ship the duo in the U.S.
Both speakers, HW-K850 and HW-K950 are available as long as you are willing to shell out $999 or $1,499, respectively.
The Samsung HW-K950 is more expensive because the sound system comes with its own soundbar, a subwoofer and two satellite speakers. The entire setup is wireless, so you won’t find any cables loitering around.
Furthermore, the pair of satellite speakers and the soundbar project sound upward for any overhead effects the Dolby Atmos tech employs. You can always upgrade later with a pair of Samsung’s Radiant360 speakers.
Both models offer Bluetooth connectivity: you can connect and play your mobile devices through them. If you prefer WiFi over Bluetooth, you can use Samsung’s Multiroom app to control any of the speakers situated in any room in your house.
