Rueckert, who is currently heading SAP’s digital supply chain business, will assume the role of the president of Bosch Building Technologies division from August 1, 2018.

The world’s biggest automotive supplier Robert Bosch has hired Tanja Rueckert, an expert in the“internet of things” from SAP, a business software maker.

The internet of things, (IoT) refers to embedding computing devices in everyday objects.

Although Rueckert will joint Robert Bosch on July 2018, he will assume the role of president of the Bosch Building Technologies division only on August 1, said Bosch.

With a employee strength of 9,000 this division generated sales of $2.3 billion (1.9 billion euros) in 2017.

Rueckert is currently heading SAP’s digital supply chain business.
