As per the findings research firm Kantar Worldpanel ComTech, the unavailability of its flagship iPhone X has played a role in the loss of its market share.
On Tuesday, Kantar Worldpanel ComTech, a research firm, stated the market share of Apple Inc’s iPhone has declined in three key regions in the world during the last three months ended October 2017.
A portion of this decline has been attributed to the unavailability of Apple’s flagship iPhone X smartphone during this time, said the research firm.
As per Kantar’s data, Apple’s iOS, the iPhone’s operating system, market share declined from 40.6% a year ago to 32.9% in the U.S.
Its market share also declined in key European and Japanese market while Google’s Android notched up its market share rankings, said Kantar.
