According to a report from VentureBeat, Discord Inc is exploring a sale that could value it at more than $10 billion.

San Francisco-based Discord is in final negotiations with one party, said the report.

The company does not comment on rumors or speculation, said Discord.

The coronavirus-induced pandemic has boosted prospects of gaming companies with people staying at home and turning to video games for entertainment during lockdowns.

U.S. gaming company Roblox made a strong market debut earlier this month after going public through a direct listing rather than a traditional initial public offering.
