In a statement the Vietnamese government said, Foxconn had commenced constructing a factory in the northern part of the country, to produce displays. The factory was scheduled to commence production after a year, said the Vietnamese government.

Foxconn’s $26-million factory in Quang Ninh province has now produced its first batch of displays, said the government and is set to produce 20,000 display screens in 2020.
