On Thursday, Finland’s Nokia Oyj stated, it has entered into partnership with Intel to speed up the shift to 5G.
The announcement comes a day after a similar deal was made with Marvell Technology.
Nokia has struggled to speed up the development of its Reefshark system on chips (SoC), which has been slower-than-expected; Nokia’s Reefshark SoC solution allows a single chip to carry an entire computer system enabling the Finnish giant to produce equipment more cheaply.
“Nokia is working with multiple partners to support its ReefShark family of chipsets, which are used in many basestation elements,” said Nokia.
