Japan Display’s panels enable Apple Inc to provide competitive pricing for its iPhones and lessens its reliance on Samsung Display for OLED panels.

On Friday, as per a news bulletin by Japan’s Kyodo News, Taiwan’s Wistron Corp and Apple Inc are eyeing a possibility of investing directly in troubled panel supplier Japan Display.
