Customers at London Gatwick and at Newcastle airports have reported that they are unable to check-in. Flight departures have also been disrupted.
On Wednesday, issues in British Airways’ IT systems led to stranded passengers, flight delays and long queues at airports.
International Airlines Group owned-British Airways apologized to customers for the disruption in service saying its technical team was on the job trying to resolve the issues as soon as possible.
British Airways did not state how many people have been affected by the incident. Many customers were unable to check-in. Affected airports include London Gatwick and Newcastle in northern England.
British Airways has said, its systems are experiencing some problems affecting check-in and flight departures.
The immediate cause of the problem is unclear.
The development are the latest in a string of IT failures to have hit British Airways.
