Among the 8 are Guesty and DayTwo. The Google Startup Growth Lab Programme is essentially a platform which enables startups to expand their reach globally.
On Tuesday, Alphabet Inc’s Google stated, it has launched a 4 month program in Israel so that startups can use its expertise and tools to grow globally.
Following the completion of a pilot in 2018, the Google Startup Growth Lab Programme picked up eight companies from Israel.
“This is a program for startups that are beginning their growth period or have growth challenges,” said Lior Noy, startup growth lead at Google.
Google Startup Growth Lab Programme, is a platform which provides industry insights to startups to enable them to expand their footprint across geographical locations; it is a first for Google, said Noy.
Among the eight startups picked up by Google, includes Guesty, a platform for short-term property management, and DayTwo, which provides personalized nutrition insights based on intestinal bacteria.
Noy stated, the program will run thrice a year with Google continuing to work with the startups even after their programs end.
“We have a few teams that work with companies that are more mature and so we give them the best team to continue their growth,” said Noy.
