The move is aimed at tweaking CNN’s digital and will entail more funds being sunk into it as well as changes in HR.
As per a report from the Wall Street Journal, John Stankey, the AT&T executive who is the CEO of WarnerMedia, plans on revamping CNN’s digital operation, and plans on infusing more money as he thinks it isn’t achieving its potential.
The shuffling of executives among its ranks comes in the wake of AT&T Inc’s recent acquisition of the WarnerMedia entertainment empire.
