Missing revenues forecasts and sales targets is adding pressure to Cupertino’s human resource management strategy for 2019.
As per a report from Bloomberg citing sources familiar with the matter at hand, Apple Inc is set to cut hiring for some of its divisions.
The development comes in the wake of Apple Inc missing its sales revenue forecast for the crucial holiday season and reporting lower than expected sales of its iPhones.
The disclosure was made by Tim Cook, Apple’s Chief Executive Officer, in a meeting with employees, in the same day he penned a letter to investors about Apple’s recent struggles, particularly in China, saying some divisions would cut back on hirings.
Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
