With this strategic move Netflix is expanding its footprint on the interactive Tv market.

Content streaming giant Netflix Inc will allow users to choose how its movie or TV episode will end. The development comes at a time when Netflix is intent on expanding its Interactive TV content, said a report from Bloomberg.

The Bloomberg report citing sources familiar with the matter at hand states, Netflix is developing specials that will allow its users to direct the storyline.

Earlier, Netflix had released its animated program “Puss in Book” wherein viewers could select alternative endings.

The first project in this new lineup is expected to be released by the end of 2018. As a tryout, Netflix’s popular sci-fi show “Black Mirror” is also set to feature an episode where this new concept will be tried out.

Netflix was not immediately available for comments.
