As a result of the hack, confidential information of nearly 350 of its clients have been leaked.

The Guardian has reported citing anonymous sources, Deloitte, a global accounting firm, had suffered a cyber attack in September.

As a result of the cyber attack, a server which contained e-mails of nearly 350 of its clients, including large corporations, and several U.S. government agencies, have been compromised.

Deloitte has disputed The Guardian’s report saying, ”very few“ clients were affected without giving any specific number.

“We take any attack on our systems very seriously,” said Deloitte in a statement.

“We are confident that we know what information was targeted and what the hacker actually did.”
