Ford to launch a new plug-in hybrid in China in 2018

Here is how Ford aims to strategically capture China’s burgeoning vehicle market.

Ford Motor Co has disclosed in 2018, it plans on launching a new plug-in hybrid car in China followed by the launch of an electric sport-utility vehicle to China in the next five years.

Ford plans on electrifying its entire vehicle lineup.

In a statement the U.S. auto manufacturer has stated that by 2025, 70% of its vehicles sales in China under the Ford brand will be either conventional hybrids, plug-in hybrids or battery powered electric vehicles.
