See it at the Lenovo Tech World on June 9.
When Motorola announced its crazy thin flip smartphone the RAZR V3 in 2004, it was a head-turner and a conversation starter then, and even today in the age of smartphones, it surprisingly still has a hold on consumers for its sheer looks and style. In the glorious hay days of Motorola, the RAZR V3 sold 130 million units.
Twelve years later, the Lenovo owned brand, appears to be prepping to resurrect this legendary model, according to its teaser video of a nostalgic walkthrough at a high school which says, “Flip back to the Razr days of yesteryear and get ready for the future.”
It will be interesting to see how Lenovo capitalizes on the RAZR brand and brings to life an Android version of the RAZR flip phone. Already the news has become the talk of the town.
The big unveil is scheduled to take place on June 9 at Lenovo Tech World. It wouldn’t be surprising if the new RAZR was to overshadow the launch of the new Moto X devices at the event.
