Google has made available these videos which can be watched on Chrome.
Search engine giant, Google, has made news again, with it commissioning six artists, who are to sculpt and paint with light using its virtual painting app Tilt Brush.
With Google, expect good great things: the big G has captured the entire process, so that you can watch these artists work on their masterpieces. So as to record this whole process, Google has used Kinect to film the artists at work and has tweaked its app, Tilt Brush, so as to enable you to view each brush stroke, on a browser.
Ever since it’s hugely successful Chrome experiment, Google has allowed access to all of its “Virtual Art Sessions” videos, which can be viewed without a virtual reality headset.
What is truly amazing, from an art student’s perspective, is that you can drag the videos on your browser, to view the in-progress pieces from different angles, including from the artists’ point of view.
As you can expect, the sessions are pretty jaw dropping, to say the least.
However, if the videos aroused your curiosity to know how the Google team actually pulled this off, check out their detailed explanation on the G Developers’ website
