At $1,499 although it is a little expensive though, its immersive surround sound experience makes it totally worth it.
When Samsung promised to bring a single soundbar system into a living room with its HW-k950 at CES, it was rather intriguing. Now that its price is out, it is still interesting if you can afford it.
Samsung’s HW-k950 soundbar system will set you back by $1,499 when it launches this summer. Included in the packaging are two wireless satellites speakers, the soundbar itself, and a wireless subwoofer.
The soundbar and satellites speakers include upward-looking speakers, which bounce sound off the ceiling to simulate overhead Atmos effects.
If you find the Samsung HW-k950 soundbar system too rich for your blood, checkout the HW-K50 sound system for $899 which comes with a single Atmos-enabled soundbar and a wireless sub.
However, this will not give you a full immersion experience since it does not include rear surround speakers, but it definitely will be a step up from your regular TV speakers.
You can also upgrade later to full surround sound with two of Samsung’s Radiant360 wireless speakers.
For those who are looking for a home theatre without having wires running all over in their living room, the HW-K950 sound system though pricey does a fantastic job of delivering surround sound.
