Foxconn’s shares surge midst collaboration talks with Vietnamese conglomerate Vingroup

On Monday, Foxconn’s shares surged by 3.6% following a statement from Vietnamese conglomerate Vingroup saying its car unit was in early stage talks with the company to collaborate on the development of batteries and electric car parts.

Foxconn has proposed acquiring EV production lines owned by the unit VinFast.
