Renault offers trade-in for its German clients

Owners of Renault’s disel vehicles which meet the Euro-5 or older emission standards are eligible to receive credits for trade-in for newer, and cleaner models.

On Tuesday, France’s Renault has become the first foreign company to play a positive role in Germany’s anti-pollution efforts. Renault stated, it has begun offering German-owners of its older diesel vehicles, incentives to trade-in their cars for cleaner, and newer ones.

On its website, Renault stated, owners of its diesel vehicles meeting the Euro-5 or an older emissions standard were eligible to receive between $2,308-$11,541 (2,000 euros and 10,000 euros) to trade in their vehicle for a new Renault car, regardless of what type of engine the new model has.
